This sweet little saltbox is in terrific shape. No chips, cracks or dings, it is ready to use in your vintage-style kitchen. It has a wooden top & measures approximately 5-1/2 inches across, 3-1/2 inches deep & 5-3/4 inches high (at the highest part in the back.) Purchased in the Champagne region of France.

This enamelware match holder or "allumettes" box, circa 1930's, has a lovely rose garland pattern. Definite wear from age & use, areas of enamel are chipped off around the edges & some spots have been painted over white, but this match box still retains its original charm. Marked on the bottom, "Ste Austria, B. Freres" this pieces was made in Austria for the French market. Measures approx 5-1/2 inches across, 3 inches deep & 7 inches to highest point. Terrific Blue French Enamelware Saltbox!
This beautiful French Enamelware salt box. circa 1930ís, is in great condition for its age. Measuring approximately 5 inches high (to top of wooden lid) & 9-1/2 inches high in the back, it has a wonderful pale blue speckled pattern. It has a couple of minor dings along the bottom ridge (see photos), but nothing at all to detract from the charm of this splendid piece.
