Wonderful little mini tea set containing twelve pieces, including lids and tray. The tray is about 2 3/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches. It is hand made with a nice scalloped edge. This is the only piece in the set that is marked: Hecho en Mexico D.F. 925 around an Aztec head profile. The mark indicates it was made in Mexico City, but I cannot identify the silversmith.

This is a delightful little 18-piece Luncheon Flatware Set. These are German silver-plate from the mid-1900s. I do not know the pattern or maker – although the logo hallmark is HHL. Each piece is marked “HHL 90” followed by a number 12 1/2 on the knives, 18 on the forks and 21 on the spoons. The German system of marking guarantees 90 grams of silver on the number of pieces indicated. The knives are also marked on the blades HHL Rostfrei. ...click for details

This is a very unusual set of two frames in a case. The frames are hinged and could hold up to four images, much like a large locket. The front has nice Art Deco decoration with a monogram “R”. The backside has three military (US Army) emblems attached – an Army ROTC Torch of Knowledge, the crossed cannons of the artillery and the crossed rifles of the infantry. It looks like a shield has been removed as well.

This frame (and another that I have listed) is a beautifully intricate filigree of cast silver in a design of curls, leaves and flowers. The easel is a simple hinged rod. There is a label on the back from J. W. Frizzell Frames Pictures Art Goods 132 W.
