A Very Rare Set of Five Chinese Ming Dynasty Moulded Blue & White Kraak Porcelain Dishes (Wanli 1573 - 1620)
This fine set of five porcelain dishes was made at the Jingdezhen kilns during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. Being a set of five, it is highly likely they were made specifically for the Japanese market. Indeed, they come in an old wooden Japanese box, although the box is surely later.
