SOLD

Late 1800's, this most unusual box personalized for Mona, contains an upper tray with tiny tiles which would be used for designing a quilt pattern in the lower tray. I've never seen or heard of one AND the quilting museums were not familiar with such a unique item. Hard to believe it could be one of a kind! The 1mm. tile cubes have a raised design indicating fabric pattern. it's thought to be considered a sort of game for ladies of leisure, that would be Mona!
