The base section unscrews to reveal the original sponge that contained the smelling salts. This lower section opens (on a hinge) to reveal the gilded vinaigrette section. KARLSBAD on the circular pontil mark on the base. It is a diamond shape when
viewed from the top, basically a 4 sided vase which tapers from 3 3/4" X 3" at the
