Glazed Nishapur bowl, decoration on a cream ground with the picture of a bird in manganese-brown, black, bright red and turquoise. A band of Arabic script on a blue ground all around.
The centre decorated with a winged animal surrounded by floral entwined branches. Arabic inscription inlaid in silver, rosettes and leaves pattern, the raised border with more decoration and silver inlays.
Large with Red-green patina, a band of repeated Kufit inscription at the top God is the King, the middle with an open work band with interlaced branches.
