Estate jewelry. Circa 1990s, 20k (tested), marked for 18k, Persia. This ring has an ethnic fashion vibe, with all the substance of a great piece of jewelry. The gold work has a deliberate hand forged look which, combined with a carved Mogul style yellow Topaz, gives the ring the feel of an ancient talisman. Back in this century we find the fabrication to be superior and the condition to be excellent.
