Fabulous antique Etruscan revival small gold box. Late 19th century. Not marked but it tests positive for 18KT gold with jeweler's acid. It weighs 40 grams. 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. Excellent condition. There is a small indentation on one side, as shown; this is not noticeable at a short distance. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Early 19th century small tortoise shell box with a square silver mounting on the top and ivory or bone feet. With a paper lining on the sides and bottom and silk lining in the lid, probably for needles. 1 7/8 inches wide, 1 1/8 inches long, and 1 1/8 inches tall. Overall excellent condition. One of the feet is slightly different from the others and is probably an early replacement. Photos enlarged to show detail.
