This is a very elegant Yuzen painted and gold thread embroidered (in parts) Tomesode. It's made with 100% silk, and even the lining is all delicate creme colored silk too. It doesn't appear to be that old, I imagine it was worn a few times and came to my hand. This is very cute and traditional Japanese Kimono fabric. At first, I only thought about fragments of Japanese patterns. But then I saw that they were artistic Japanese gift boxed ornated with special knottings! i think it was meant to be boxes made with Kimono fabric like Japanese crazy quilt.
