Rare American Federal Tea Caddy in mahogany, of bombe form having a stepped sloping lid with patterned inlay opening to a interior with later fabric lining; the body with satinwood banding, shield shaped escutcheon and later brass feet. Circa 1790, probably New England.
A Rare Stoneware Wine Flask (called a “Schraubflasche” in German), cylindrical with a pewter screw top, sloped shoulder and white glazed body with applied silvered decoration of a scrolling branch with leaves and berries. Silvered underglazed mark on base.
