English Copper Lustre Historical jug, c. 1830. Attributed to Enoch Wood. "Surrendering of Cornwallis" on one side and "Lafeyette" on the other side. Tiny chip on inside of foot rim. Crisp transfer scene shows Cornwallis resigning his sword to Washington at Yorktown. Oct. 19, 1781. The lustre is very bright. A truly fine piece. 7.5 inches.
