The size of Plate: 5" Dia x 1 3/4" High. Very handsome and attractive Japanese Hirado Porcelain Shallow Bowl. The bowl is made by fine quality porcelain as well as fine glazing. It has Goben Bana(five flower petal) design in the center. There is gold and red ring design between center and rim area. Border area with Hana Karakusa in blue underglaze with gold accented leaf veins. The top rim area has slightly curved edge. Backside with blue underglazing design. The size of each Plate: 7 1/8" Long x 5" Wide x 7/8" High. Beautiful Japanese Hirado Celadon(Seiji) Porcelain Rectangular Plate Set. The plate was made from fine Hirado porcelain with fine Celadon(seiji) glazing. The plate has nice work of relief work on the surface. It is symbolic design or stylized Kanji character. The condition of 5 plates are excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. A couple of plate has slightly off on the side. Dating from Meiji period, 1868-1912.

The size of Plate 7 5/8" Dia x 1 1/4" High. Pretty Japanese Hirado Porcelain Plate. It has nice design of Dragon in the center. The motif design around the plate rim area with stylized wave design geometically well painted in uniformely. The back side has Karakusa design. It has marking on the center. The condition of plate excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The plate does very little wobble on the bottom, not much. Dating from Meiji period late 19th century. 1868-1900.
