This attractive little jar is a shipwreck recovery from southeast Asia. It is most likely from the Khmer culture (circa 12th-13th century). It has a graceful and elegant, lotus petal decoration. There are small remnants of sea creatures on the outside and inside of the jar that add to its appeal. It is roughly 11.5 cm tall and roughly 12.5 cm wide. It shows no signs of repair or restoration.

This is a wonderful piece of Khmer culture pottery dating to the 12th century AD. Though it does show signs of repair it is still a magnificent piece. It is over 13 cm tall with a creamy glaze. It has a lotus petal decoration around the body. It also has a character inscribed on the base which is common to these pieces. This is a truly rare piece of ancient Asian pottery that would be great for any collection or simply as a decoration or conversation starter.

This is a beautiful and large porcelain vase with an imperial Chinese reign mark indicating that it was produced in the Ming period. However, like several other pieces I have listed that were all purchased from the same dealer, I believe that this is a twentieth century reproduction. As a result, you get a a beautiful with all the appeal of an original at only a fraction of the cost. It measures roughly 42 cm in height and has a colorful phoenix and cherry blossom motif.
