From the Empire Porcelaine Co., Stoke on Trent, England, this platter is appropriatly named "Orchard" as you can see the beautiful pears, grapes, apples, and oranges as well as lush foliage. My research places it early 1900's. This would make a beautiful addition for your collection. If you collect cobalt blue, we have French cobalt egg cups, as well as the British silver plate on cobalt salt and pepper shown in the photo. 13 1/2" X 10 3/4

Not just for children, these blocks are even a challenge for adults! The German's are known for their excellent chromolithographs and these are wonderful depictions of Victorian children and their dogs and animals at play in various scenes. There are 4 different scenes included but I have finally figured out the 5th and am working on the final 6th scene(I told you it's a challenge...sooo much fun!) The wooden box is missing 1 end as shown in photos but all blocks are in tact. There are ...click for details

This wonderful cape is hand tailored of the softest winter white"baby wool" and fully lined in satin ! You could probably even wear it in reverse, however there is a water stain in the lining. The tiny stitches are incredible and the hand stiched buttonholes are perfect!.There is a small pink stain on the collar and mid front shown in photos 2 and 5. Photo 4 shows a slightly weak spot in the wool. I believe it would be considered a Small to Medium size. This is a piece you'll enjoy ...click for details

This beautiful scalloped and embossed compote has a most unique decoration of underglaze transfer-printing with characteristics of flow blue, a result of the glazing process. This fine example has no repetition of the floral, foliate, and cartouche designs in the bowl. The patterned relief handles are quite lovely. The underneath of the pedestal is marked with an impressed 2 and 8. It measures 10" across the handles X 9" width, x 5.25" high.
