Nice Original Mt. Washington Satin Glass Hand Painted Tomato Shaped Salt Shaker. This item does not have its original lid. The wonderful Hand Enameled decoration does not appear to be worn as many of these shakers are when you find them. This item is enameled to resemble Decorated Peachblow Glass. The shaker measures 2 1/4" across and stands 1 1/2" tall. There are a few rim chips which would be completely covered once the lid were put on the collar. This lovely item is just waiting for your metal top. No cracks or repairs. Shipping is $5.00 in the Continental U.S. plus optional Insurance available for additional fee.

Greentown Original Chocolate Glass Cactus Pattern Shaker with original screw on top! Jacob Rosenthal developed "Chocolate Glass" for the Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company (aka Greentown) and was released to the public in May of 1902. The very successful line was the star production of the firm until it was destroyed by a Catastrophic Fire on June 13, 1903. As with almost all of Original Greentown Chocolate Glass that survives today, this item may have in the making small air bubbles, dark ash spots or streaks withing the glass as well as edge stress lines created during the cooling process all of which are not considered damage and are natural occurring anomalies inherent to the brittle Greentown Chocolate Glass. This item measures 3 1/2" X 3 3/4". This shaker has flat flakes to several of its feet, the tops/points of the Zipper Pillars and several of the beads and the top rim. A scarce find at an affordable price for a representative piece of Greentown Chocolate Glass. Shipping Fee is $7.50 plus Optional Insurance Upon Request in the Continental U.S.
