A great miniature vase by Kinkozan with excellent work- unfortunately with a crack on the foot (recent).There is also worn gilding. One panel shows a Bijin (beautiful woman) with a koto (zither) and pet cat in front of a screen and a floral arrangement. The reverse shows a lively bird-and-flower scene. The background is a dark brown enamel tone, with a floral motif applied. The base bears the 3-character Kinkozan signature. This elegant vase, also Japanese taste, has a gorgeous curved shape and a distinguished dense crackle-glaze.
