A Danish stoneware jar by Per Linneman Schmidt for Palshus, 1960's. Of cylindrical shape, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diam: "5 ¾ / 14,5 cm, height: "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Incised marks: Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

Earthenware relief-moulded dish by Söholm on the isle of Bornholm, Denmark. Late 19th century, typical of this factory’s early production. Moulded decoration of laurel leaves and an old couple in classical style, the design inspired by Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen. Diam: "10/ 26 cm. Condition: slight wear to parts of the figures in the centre.

Hand hammered pewter box and lid by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). The side of the box concave, the lid with centre decoration of a stylized flower and a white Bakelite (?) knob. Chiseled decoration on the lid, maybe by Andersen's wife, Alba, with whom he had started the Just workshop in 1918 and who was a chiseller. Early Just mark, c 1920. Diam: "3 ¾/ 10 cm, height: "2 ¾/ 7 cm. Condition: some stains and a small nick to the rim.
