This is an early Tiffany Studios Favrile Lime Green Opalescent Scone or Torchiere Shade, with a raised floral design. The shade is 6.5" high and has a 2.25" fitter. Other than an insignificant flake and some roughness on the rim for the fitter, the shade is in excellent condition.
Clearly meant to look like the head of a flower, this tulip shaped Tiffany Studios Favrile Art Glass shade has a Spring green pulled feather design over a light cream color, highly reflective base. The cream color has a chartreuse tone to it. The shade is 4 7/8th" high and has a 2.25" the rim for the fitter. On that rim, "L.C.T." is engraved. The shade is in excellent condition.
Golden, with red and blue iridescent highlights, these Quezal Art Glass shades are in excellent condition. The name "Quezal" is etched in black on the inner rim for the fitter. They are 4 3/4" high with a standard 2.25" rim for the fitter. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE TWO OF THESE SHADES.
Quite rare are these Tiffany turn of the century Golden Favrile Shades designed for wall sconces. The shades have unusual crimped edges and are 5 7/8" in length. The bottom or base which sits on top of the sconce has a width of 5" with a fitter rim of 3 1/4". Each is signed LCT Favrile.
Please note that I have shades which are also identical, but with a
2 1/4" rim for the fitter.
These Quezal Lily shades are so similar in the gold Favrile color and glass quality to those made by Tiffany that it is amazing. The interior is of an iridescent semi opaque opalescent glass. The exterior has a beautiful highly iridescent Gold Favrile finish. This item has No chips, cracks or repairs. They are signed "Quezal" and have an incredible coloring, which literally flashes the rainbow. The shades are 4 3/4" high with a 2" rim for the fitter.
Quezal, Steuben, Tiffany and Lustre Art Glass made the finest in the Art Nouveau Glass shades. These 5.5" high gold iridescent pulled feather over calcite shades prove the point. The glass is so fine that it "ring" like fine crystal. The fitter is 2 1/4". They are signed "Quezal" and have no cracks, fleabites or roughness.
