Vienna Secession design large double frame made by the WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1908. Josef Hoffmann inspired Gitterwerk patterns are placed horizontally on the form while further complimenting reticulated Secession design flanks the sides of the frame. An unusual example of WMF (Wurttembergisch Metalwaren Fabrik) Secession design. The superbly executed form consists of a sauciere fashioned as one unit with its attached oval tray beneath. Raised Secession elements reminiscent of Josef Hoffmann Gitterwerk embellish the form. Gilded within. The well known Germany workshop's oxidation marks upon the handle. Made circa 1910. Dimensions: 4 1/2" H, 9 1/2" L.

Completely hammered surface of this impeccable Secession design box with a central raised oval medallion upon its top. The rectangular hinged lid rests upon an outward curved form box with four disc feet. A clear Wiener Werkstatte influence design created by the WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1930's. Wooden lining. Dimensions: 2 1/2" H, 4 3/8" W, 6 1/2" L.

Each vertically lobed piece with tiered dome top mounted with ebonized wooden handles is hand hammered; cream & sugar with gilded interiors. Lovely Pair of lobed form fine silver candlesticks. Date mark 1856, silver purity 813, maker FR. Broad lobed form base as well as columns show influence mid-nineteenth century Austrian (Austro-Hungarian) silver had upon the Vienna Secession design movement.
