A scarce 2-1/8" x 1-3/8" cardboard matchbox from Canadian National Railways. This red, black and white Eddy match box features French on one side and English on the other; it is intact with bright graphics and the original inner tray. We were told it dates to c1950. I have never run across one before. It is in very good original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of bumping to the edges and strike wear to the emery strips. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $5.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.

A gilt brass and celluloid 2-3/4" tie clip c1938-40, from the Cunard steamship liner Queen Elizabeth I. Launched in 1938, the QEI was retrofitted for the war effort in 1940, and relaunched in 1946. She was taken out of service as a luxury liner in 1968. This clip features a 5/8" x 1/2" celluloid view of the ship, with Queen Elizabeth written below the ship, and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; there is a slight patina of fine scratches visible (when looked at under a 10X loupe) on the celluloid, but these are not otherwise visible or noticeable. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $5.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card; items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. A well executed, hand made ship in a bottle c1950s. This miniature ship is in a plastic-capped 10-7/8" liquor bottle holding 25 ounces. The scene is a cut above many such bottles, with a fishing boat named Norma in choppy water, next to a lighthouse and building on a rock outcropping. The workmanship and water motion are quite nice, and this bottle has a popsicle stick rest glued to a black-painted paper attached to the bottle, which has a blue painted bottom. A nice, folksy piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage. Shipping is $7.00 to the US, insured is higher. We ship internationally, and all prices are in $US.
