Fine Japanese Meiji Period Golden Age mid night blue background silver wire & wireless technique Cloisonne Vase on silver-gilded rims. It is decorated with fine multiple floral blossoms and tone-changing rims. The lower part of the vase depicts symbolic mountains and water; the upper part of the vase has symbolic decorations and yellow branches with green leaves on a brown background. 6 1/8" tall x 3 5/8" D.

Very rare museum quality Japanese Edo Period (18th century) mixed metal brass, shakudo and silver inlaid tripod Hibachi with unusually shaped handles with rings , pierced neck, applied shakudo decorations over the body. There are original age patinated (not cleaned) wire and scroll wire decorations on handles, rings, and the body of Hibachi around pierced holes on the neck. Tripod hibachi has original age patina, heavy by weight, and has no losses. 8 3/4" wide x 6" tall

It has outstanding relieved inlays of silver and gold quails,multi-metal inlays of autumn leaves of various patination (gold, red, and brown), and shakudo and various tone patinated flower blossoms.
