Japanese museum quality one of a kind multi-metal Okimono of a rooster on a wood base. It is made with fantastic cast and chisel work over silver feathers, black shakudo tail, sentoku (gold) feet, copper red head , gold eyes and a gold beak. The okimono is originally mounted to the base with two screws and nuts. The signature plate of Masatsume is mounted over center of the bottom of the okimono. Very rare museum quality Japanese Edo Period (18th century) mixed metal brass, shakudo and silver inlaid tripod Hibachi with unusually shaped handles with rings , pierced neck, applied shakudo decorations over the body. There are original age patinated (not cleaned) wire and scroll wire decorations on handles, rings, and the body of Hibachi around pierced holes on the neck. Tripod hibachi has original age patina, heavy by weight, and has no losses. 8 3/4" wide x 6" tall
