A Beautiful cloisonne snuff bottle, Qing dynasty (19th century).
The entire bottle is fully enameled on a heavy brass body. Decorated in details with flying bird, flowers, and scholar rock in the turquoise grounded windows (Kai Guang).

19th Century Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer Snuff Bottle with Figurine. One side shows an elder sitting under a tree and pointing his finger at the sun, which is located at right hand side shoulder. The meaning of this scenery in Chinese indicates - to be promoted soon. The other side shows two men peddling on a boat, which was an old Chinese saying "Tong Zhou Gong Ji", meaning: Together we are on the same boat.
