Beautiful handmade Mexican sterling silver beads from Taxco circa 1940s. They are all the same size, not graduated and at 15" end to end fits more like a choker. Plump, they measure just under 1/2" diameter and are strung on woven silver chain for long-term durability. Wonderful patina is left intact! Stamped Taxco 925

Classic design, finest Mexican silver, best condition....Maestro Hilario Lopez was a leading smithy at Margot Van Voorhies Carr's taller of "Margot de Taxco" for many years. This substantial repousse bracelet known as "Cornflower" fits most wrists. The spring is in good working order and there is no damage. It measures 3" wide at best, tapering to 1 1/4" at the hinge and the interior is 2 1/4" wide measured side to side. Weight 80gr sterling silver.

Rosary necklace known as pajaritos (bird) jewelry traditionally made in Guanajuato Mexico, is sterling silver with gold overlay. French blue opaline beads are prong set, the birds eyes are ruby and three mother of pearl eggs in the nest signifying the holy trinity. Delicate styling and very finely detailed, yet the construction is solid. The cross portion measures 1 7/8" x 1 1/2". Wears like a choker 14 1/2" end to end. No loss.

Spratling design borrowed here by one of his contemporaries and who could blame them? The design is clean, timeless and recognizable. The stones are colorful azur-malachite. This is signed as shown, Taxco, initials and eagle 3 hallmarks. This piece has been wiped with a jeweler's rouge cloth to bring out the lustre. Near perfect. Interior measures 5 1/4" plus an additional gap opening of 1 1/4 so check your fit, with a stone inlay face, adjustments can be fatal.

In the style of Los Castillo and Margot de Taxco, this repoussed silver cuff bracelet is a 1940s sterling silver wonder. The patina is excellent, has a pewtery tone to it. Incised hallmark appears to be CP. Face tip to tip measures 4 1/4" approximately, tapering to an inch at the spring, which is nice and tight. Exceptional conditon.

Great old design made famous by the Los Castillo Plateria in Taxco, here is an example thats signed Taxco 925. Its an oldie and has repair so its priced accordingly. This originally had at least two more domes on the sides up towards the closure but it wears nicely as it is. A great buy for a classic piece. Measures 15" end to end, fits like a choker.
