道光粉采人物酒壶 A nice 19th century Daoguang famille rose covered teapot or wine pot with famous historical figures. Good painting typical of the period with thick enamel as seen in the detail pictures. Red mark of Daoguang on both the pot and the cover. Not imperial mark though. This type of pot is for individual use.

A black mille fleurs teapot and small tazza (footed dish). Guangxu mark and late of the period or early Republic. Clean and sharp designs. Good condition with no cracks or hairlines. Enamel in good condition. Nice example of this design. Teapot and tazza hard to find.

An antique Chinese export rose canton or rose medallion teapot of unusual square form. Light white biscuit, excellent enamel, no marks. Circa 1890.

About 8.5" high to finial, 7.5" wide from spout to handle. Alas the spout has a repair, see picture. Otherwise very good condition, including enamel.

A fine antique Japanese Satuma teapot from the Meiji era. One scene is that of a golden pagoda and temple with cherry blossoms and having Mt. Fuji in the background. Lots of gold highlights and all very finely detailed. The rim of the teapot lid and body are outlined in black, highlighted with gold gilt. The reverse side of the pot is signed Shisan with a mon against a typical Satsuma creamy crackle finish.

A fun famille rose teapot following the form of old Chinese wine pots. Wonderful decoration of figural scenes from a heavenly banquet given by the Queen of the West for the multitude of superior beings in Chinese buddhist mythology. The one slouched over in his cups with bare chest is the god of longevity also symbolized by his favorite peaches in the bowl. Gold highlights. No marks on the glazed bottom. This is a Chinese rose medallion teapot of generous size and in the domed shape with a deep deep lid insert. I'll let this exceptional teapot speak for itself through the pictures. The gilt is all there there, including those in the hair of the people. The rubbing is in areas which are often handled. 10 medallions on the teapot and 4 on the spout. No marks and quite heavy. A fine old Luneville faience tea set consisting of teapot (or coffee pot), sugar and creamer. Pretty floral pattern called Strasbourg tulip. Teapot cover and sugar cover both have fruit form finials. Old crown mark of K&G Luneville from the 1920s or earlier. Pink trim all around... so very continental in mood. This image of the "Rainy Scene at the Sen-ke" (House of the founder of tea ceremony) is from the month series "Twelve Months of Kyoto" (Kyō-meishō jūnikagetsu), published 1945 by Uchida in Kyoto. A fine Gorham 5 piece sterling tea set with repousse plum blossoms. Set includes teapot, hot water, cream, sugar and waste bowl. Both teapot & hot water pot are 1 1/4 pint capacity. Both have ivory or bone insulators on the handles. Nice detail with the repousse standing out deep in relief (see detail pic of inside). A striking 1839 London sterling teapot with ivory separators by Charles Fox, member of an important 19th century London goldsmith family.
