A very cool pair of vintage modernist cufflinks from Taxco, Mexico. Sterling silver with rectangular chunks of Tiger's Eye set in each one. Marked Rancho Alegre and Sterling on each cufflink. Each one measures about 1" long, 1/2" across and 3/8" high. Very good condition. Great design.
A very cool pair of vintage Taxco, Mexico sterling silver and inlaid wood cuff links. Measure approximately 1 1/4" across. The grain of the inlay is facing out symmetrically. The part that goes through the cuff is also marked 925. Signed Sterling, Taxco, 925, Hecho en Mexico and the designer's initials, L. F. Very well made and in great condition.
A vintage modernist pair of silver cufflinks (cuff links) from Taxco, Mexico. Measures about 3/4" wide. Marked Talleres de Los Ballesteros, Taxco Gro around a stylized 'B' on the back of each. In nice condition, some minor surface scratches and tarnish. One little nick on the edge, but looks original. Sterling or better, but the rest of the mark is probably under the cuff link back. New owner may choose to polish more.
A pair of sterling silver modernist cufflinks. Measure 3/4" across. Marked with the maker's mark, R T, anchor for Birmingham and lion for sterling. Also has what looks like a 'W' for date code. Marks are so tiny, very difficult to make out. Solid silver, fittings are also marked 925. Toggles work fine. Some surface scratches. Nice classic design.
A pair of vintage Mexican sterling cufflinks with a cut work design. Measure 1" long, 3/4" across and 1/4" high. Marked Sterling MM Mexico on the backs. Toggles work fine. Could use some polishing. Slightly bent but the new owner can easily bend them back. Pre Eagle.
A pair of vintage sterling silver and what looks like tortoise shell (not quite sure what it is made of) cuff links in an abstract 'S' pattern. Measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Nice that the patterns are opposite each other. Marked Taxco, Mexico, 925 around the initials CBS. Has an Eagle #3. Very nice condition, some minor tarnish. One of the findings is slightly bent. Very cool design!
A pair of vintage hammered oxidized sterling silver cufflinks with 18K gold overlay in the style of Graziella Laffi. 18K overlay depicts Pre Columbian birds. Measure 7/8 " across. Marked with 925 and 18K. Swivels work well. In very nice condition, slight loss of gold at the tip of one tail. Nice work, interesting design.
A pair of sterling silver and onyx cuff links in a Mid Century Modernist Sun design. Eight sided onyx cabochons with a central sterling bead. Marked Sterling Taxco and 925. Measure 1 1/8" across. In nice condition, toggles work fine. One of the 'rays' is slightly bent. Quality work.
A vintage sterling silver pair of cuff links with the cattle brand, "The Hell", which was registered in Jeff Davis County, Texas in 1885. It is described as an open hat with a capital 'T' through the middle. These shadow boxed cuff links are marked on the back, The Hell, Cattle Brand, Sterling and Copyright F & S (for Fenwick and Sailors). Have a patent number on the back of the swivels.
