It is made of sheet metal painted white. The top the stove is decorated with a cornice and there is a fancy medallion in the center front. On the bottom there is a hinged brass door. Part of the cornice is missing from the top of the stove. The overall condition is otherwise very good. A great addition to a German roombox parlor or an antique dollhouse. The tin back measures 5 1/8 inches x 2 7/8 inches. There is a tank for water and a metal tap as well as a rack which can be pushed up or down so that a bucket or pan can rest on it. There is a chain for a plug which is missing. Also there is a bit of rust around the hinge for the rack, the hole for the chain and in the bowl but otherwise the paint in rather good condition. Also the size is quite desirable. The can for the petroleum is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and the lamp stands only 3 1/2 inches in all. The reflector is very nice condition and there is almost no paint loss. The mount for the chimney can be screwed off so that petroleum could actually be filled into the tank.
