It is a lovely turquoise blue with a white base, and lovely brown glaze interior. Note the P inside a curved edge square, as the maker's mark; I have a paper that said his name, it was Joe Pemberton of Deal. I believe this was a recent piece done in c. 2000 and is in very excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or other defects.
