Fine Art Nouveau! Gilded pewter champagne goblet made by the Orivit workshop in Cologne circa 1904. The naturalistic stem rises upward to a berried tri-branch holder which supports a crystal glass. The Amethyst crystal is cut in an undulating wave pattern. Orivit collaborated with Val St. Lambert to produce many of its crystal elements for use with Art Nouveau mounts. Liberty Tudric Pewter and enamel jug designed by Archibald Knox circa 1902-03. The lidded jug with its cane covered handle has a relief pattern of entwined foliates. The central leaf upon each side is enamelled in turquoise. Marks beneath: Tudric 0280 Rd 421108. An example in 'Liberty Style', page 100. Dimensions: 8" H.

Jugendstil pottery tray or magnum bottle stand. Glazed in lush colors the dark green, sea foam green, white and lilac pottery displays an undulating rhythmic pattern. The silvered Secession influence gallery is supported by three ball feet. Under-glaze marks: St. A. G. Sornewitz. Made in the Saxony region of Germany circa 1910. Dimensions: 6 3/4" W, 1 1/2" H.

Champagne bottle form figural cigar holder or humidor. Realistically fashioned complete with its corked top. The hand chased form with florals and leaves has "Cigarios" engraved upon the front. Made for the Argentinean market by Imperial Silver Co. circa 1915 in Omaha, Nebraska. The workshop became the A.F. Smith Co. Dimensions: 10" H.

An Art Nouveau Maiden stands upon a curving tray with raised Jugendstil roundels. With outstretched arms she holds a perch with a pair of lovebirds. A fine example made by the WMF (Wurttembergishce Metalwaren Fabrik) Workshop in Germany circa 1900. Illustrated in the firm's well known 1906 Catalogue page 167. Dimensions: 7" H, 7 1/2" W, 8 1/4" L.

Inquire 

Stunning form stands at 16" tall. A bulbous footed bottom leads to a neck with a flaring rim. Glazed in lush blue and celadon with white and brown accents. Four pendant medallions with foliates and a central florette highlight the form. The neck is decorated with complimenting florettes. Impressed artist's marks as well as Doulton Lambeth marks beneath. England circa 1908. The form shown on page 177 in 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares' by Irvine.
