Extraordinarily fine quality wine or claret jug from the famous WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop. The art glass carafe by Mont Joye has an acid textured green surface. Robust Art Nouveau irises are heavily enameled in five colours upon the form. An Art Nouveau Rococco mount with its deeply curving pour spout completes the collaboration. Vienna Secession design large double frame made by the WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1908. Josef Hoffmann inspired Gitterwerk patterns are placed horizontally on the form while further complimenting reticulated Secession design flanks the sides of the frame.
