Lovely high Art Nouveau box from the WMF (Wuttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. The rectangular form is supported by four whiplash reticulated feet which rise at each corner. relief flower and whiplash Art Nouveau tendrils continue upon the hinged top as well as sides of the box. A stunning example! Illustrated in the 1906 WMF Catalogue on page 298. Firm's marks beneath. Dimensions: 3" H, 4 5/8" W, 6 7/8" L.

A fine Art Nouveau pewter wine cooler. A lovely maiden in high relief scene of mountains, castles and Rhine Valley is depicted around entire circumference of the vessel. relief grape leaves and stems form opposing handles. A truly extraordinary example of Art Nouveau at its finest. Made in Germany circa 1900. Dimensions: 11 1/2" H, 7 1/4" W at opening, 9" W at base.

The wine bottle stand has raised panel designs which lead upward to an undulating Art Nouveau top. Flanking Art Nouveau poppies rise above the rim. A fine example created by the Orivit workshop in Cologne circa 1906. Dimensions: 2 1/2" H, 4 3/8" W.

Arts & Crafts candlesticks made of iron with a distressed texture finish and raised rivet clusters. Applied brass mountings have raised rivet design as well. An open bowl form cup lies beneath the candle cup with bobeche. Probably made by Groberg. The workshop known for its broad variety of ironwork was founded by Hugo Berg. Germany circa 1910. Dimensions: 7 1/2" H, 5 1/4" W, at base.

Lovely high Art Nouveau reticulated whiplash design bottle stand. Two Art Nouveau maidens with flowing hair enhance the top. Reminiscent of Alphonse Mucha design. Made by the well known WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. Illustrated in the 1906 WMF Catalogue on page 153. Firm's marks beneath. Highly stylized Art Nouveau silver frame. Whiplash florals and vines in relief adorn the sides. A central tendriled floret with beaded surround crowns the top. A blank undulating cartouche highlights the bottom. Hallmarks: Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1900. A splendid example of Art Nouveau British silver. Quite elegant WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) photo frame. The oval opening with beaded surround lies above a stylized Secession foliate vignette. The gently curved top has opposing scrolling elements. Lovely design influenced by the masters of the Wiener Werkstatte. Workshop marks upon the side. Germany circa 1910. Inquire 

Beautifully cast 19th century bronze figural candle holders. The two-light holders are in the form of a central open winged stork standing with one leg upon a tortoise. A serpent entwines the leg and is grasped by the stork's claw. The flanking candle cups with bobeche are cast with relief ivy and berry foliates. The whole rests upon a round complimenting foliate incised base. France circa 1890. Dimensions: 8 1/2" H, 7 3/4" W.
