Fine and unusual Rosenthal Porcelain Silver Overlay Vase. large form glazed in Burgundy with additional white, orange and black glazing. Silver overlay in a Japonoiserie scene with a parrot perched among cherry blossoms, foliage and branches. Stamped 1000/1000 which is pure silver. Firms marks upon base for Germany circa 1937. Retains original 1930's retailer's label from Montevideo upon base as well. Dimensions: 11 3/8" H, 7 5/8" W.

Fine quality gilded and enamel Cameo Glass Claret Jug. Enamel foliates in lilac and purples. Silvered mounts with floral garlands and a flame finial. A scarce example by this Atelier which was founded in the reign of Louis XV. The glass as well as the mount each signed with the firm's mark in the form of a sailing boat flanked by letters V & S for Verrerie de Sevres, France circa 1900. Dimensions: 8 3/4" H, 5 3/4" W.

Pair of fine figural Art Nouveau Candelabra. Polished pewter maidens representing Day and Night. One figure with eyes gazing forward while the companion gazes downward. Naturalistic lily pad bases support the whispy figures each grasping vine-like stems; candle cups rest at their top. Made by Argentor in Austria circa 1905. Firm's marks upon bases.
