Impressive large oval Austrian centerpiece or jardiniere made by Krupp Berndorff in Austria circa 1900 under the direction of Arthur Krupp. A deep scalloped cut crystal bowl with alternating cut patterns floats above its holder. Finely detailed cast twig and leaf handles as well as naturalistically splayed footed supports. Unusual example from this workshop due to its elaborate ornamentation. Pair of magnificent five light Art Nouveau Pewter Candelabra. Made by the B & G Imperial Zinn workshop in Krefeld, Germany circa 1900. Impeccable Art Nouveau form with whiplash arms supporting candle cups with relief foliate detail upon each bobeche. The holders rise above a naturalistically undulating base. Influenced by an important Henry Van de Velde design. The workshop founded by Peter Bitter and Kaufmann Wilhelm Gobbers was established in 1900 and was extant for less than nine years. ...click for details

Fine figural Art Nouveau Silvered Pewter Liquor Service depicting a maiden upholding a cut crystal decanter. A fluid Jugendstil base holds six cordial tumblers. Stylized hand cutting upon decanter and tumblers is in a Secession design. Designed by Albert Mayer for WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) in Germany circa 1900.
