An octagonal Rouen faience blue and white platter. Width: 35.7 cm. 19th cent.
The lower edge of the dish has warped in the kiln and there is some chipping to the lower edge on the reverse (probably a kiln adhesion since the area is unglazed) showing a yellowish-pink body.
