An attractive mounted display of three ivory fans, two Chinese, one English, on velvet in a gilt rococo-style case. 1) Chinese c. 1790 finely carved in relief with the initials HW in an oval reserve. The ends of this fan have been trimmed, probably to fit the frame. Otherwise no apparent damage.

An unusual Yue stoneware lampstand, the faceted stem with two applied rings rising from a flat base with a raised rim, covered overall with a crackled olive green glaze. Height: 16 cm. Sui/T’ang dynasty.

The attachment of the lower ring to the stem has been restored.

A Japanese five-colour imari barber’s bowl decorated with a floral pattern in underglaze blue, iron-red, aubergine, green and yellow enamels with gilding. Diameter: 27.3 cm. Early- mid 18th cent.

Some rubbing to gilding and red enamel in the cavetto. An unglazed ring in the centre of the dish has been enamelled over vivid green and yellow enamels outlined in black in the Kutani manner.

Slight fritting to edges. Burst glaze bubble to front face. No other faults.
