Slight cockling to print. No damage or staining. In excellent condition- as is the frame.
An interesting Satsuma pottery dish decorated in enamels and gilt with a scene of horse racing and spectators in lavish costumes, the reverse marked Nihon tei beneath a Shimazu mon. Diameter: 21.2 cm. Taisho, c. 1920.
Perfect condition; finely gilded.

A set of six Arita blue and white dishes with foliate rims loosely decorated with landscape scenes. Brown enamelling to rims. Diameter: 12.8 cm. Late 18th cent.
Spur marks to the interior. Two with small chips to the footrim. No other faults.
A set of six moulded Arita bowls decorated with a design in underglaze blue of a Dutchman with his dog. Diameter: 15.5 cm. c.1760-90. Slight chip to one footrim, otherwise perfect.

An Arita charger decorated in a strong underglaze blue in the kraak style with ho-o birds, peaches and rockwork surrounded by a panelled floral border. Diameter: 33 cm. late 17th cent. Provenance: Ray Collection.
Reglued break and hairline at 4.00. A further partial crack at 2.00 but this has not fully penetrated the body. No other faults.
