An octagonal brass sireh set consisting of a globular box, two cups and a leaf container, all items profusely engraved, together with a small brass tazza, the lid doubling as a tray. Height: 21.7 cm; diameter; 18.8 cm. Javanese, probably early 20th cent.
An attractive Mindanao silver-inlaid betel box with chamfered corners, decorated with a geometric floral design. Dimensions: 6 1/8 in. x 3 in.x 3 in. 19th cent.
The drop handles on the side are missing. No other faults.

A Sawankhalok celadon figure of an elephant. Height: 3 ¼ in. 14/15th cent. A more elaborate example is illustrated in Chinese Celadon (South East Asian Ceramic Society, 1979) no. 319.
Some areas of glaze degradation. Repairs to all four legs.
A fine brass octagonal sirih (or sireh) box, engraved with repeating geometric foliate motifs, the lid with a T-fret border. Length: 9 3/8 in. Malay or maybe Indonesian. 19th cent.
This is a very elegant box and extremely heavy (2.2 kg.). Hinged to the reverse. No damage.
