A Japanese Imari saucer decorated in iron-red, underglaze blue and green enamels with a stylised panelled border of flowers, rocks, etc. Diameter: 6 in. 18th cent.
Slight wear to enamels. Kiln adhesion to base. No other faults.
An unusual large Qajar pottery punch bowl decorated with blue enamel floral motifs and border, in the manner of a Chinese export bowl c. 1790-1800. Diameter: 12 ½ in. Late 18th/ early 19th cent.
The bowl has warped slightly- unsurprising in view of its size- and has four small rim chips (the largest shown). No other damage.
An attractive Fukagawa Imari bowl, the interior enamelled with panels of birds, bamboo and iris on a prunus ground, the reverse with sprays of prunus. Underglaze blue Fukagawa mark to the base. Diameter: 9 5/8 in. Early 20th cent.
A Chinese export articulated ivory acrobat. Height: 3 ½ in. 19th century.
Slightly larger and better carved than his bone counterpart, this figure has an age crack to his right side as seen. No other damage. He is a bit more temperamental when it comes to performing tricks.
A Chinese export ivory ladder puzzle. Dimensions: 6 in. x 4 1/8 in. 19th century.
Start with one bead between each of the rungs of the ladder. The aim is to get all the beads together on the cord without removing them from the cord at any time.
