A small Qajar rose medallion dish, vividly enamelled with scattered blooms, flowers and butterflies in the Chinese manner. Diameter: 7 ¼ in. Iran, late nineteenth century.The dish has the rim chips to which this type of Middle Eastern pottery is prone. No other damage. An interesting and now rare variation on the usual Chinese export style.
