A Japanese pottery bowl enamelled on the interior with a central ao-kutani style motif of a bird and flowers surrounded by a panelled border of figures, flowers and ju characters and to the exterior with floral sprays. Diameter: 6 5/8 in. c.1900.Perfect. The uneven rustic potting of this bowl and casually dripped, lightly-crackled glaze is very appealing.
