A rare and attractive Javanese octagonal brass water kettle with a galleried mouth and bird-form spout, engraved all over with scrolling lotus and swastika diaper. Height (incl. handle): 8 1/8 in. Probably early 20th cent.
An attractive Mindanao silver-inlaid betel box with chamfered corners, decorated with a geometric floral design. Dimensions: 6 1/8 in. x 3 in.x 3 in. 19th cent.
The drop handles on the side are missing. No other faults.

A fine brass octagonal sirih (or sireh) box, engraved with repeating geometric foliate motifs, the lid with a T-fret border. Length: 9 3/8 in. Malay or maybe Indonesian. 19th cent.
This is a very elegant box and extremely heavy (2.2 kg.). Hinged to the reverse. No damage.
