A Chinese porcelain bowl or brushwasher covered in a crackled celadon glaze with a brown enamel rim and unglazed ring foot. Diameter: 10 in. Probably early 20th cent.
Small production fault shown in the detail. No other flaws. The glaze is greener than the images suggest, due to the effect of the flash.

An attractive blue Chinese porcelain bowl with a barbed rim and pierced pedestal foot, decorated to the exterior with floral sprays in white enamel. Old collector’s label within the footrim. Diameter: 10 7/8 in. 19th century.

A Chinese overlay glass snuff bottle, the body carved with a translucent floral design on a bubble-suffused ground. Green glass stopper. Height: 2 3/8 in. Probably late 19th cent.
Chip to one leaf (see detail). The solid glass stopper has cracks though it has no inclination to dislodge- possibly a feature of production.
A very attractive Chinese export porcelain platter with a barbed rim, decorated in underglaze blue with a central design of flowers and rockwork within an elaborate floral and diaper border. Width: 11 3/8 in. Qianlong (1736-95).
Slight rim fritting. One tiny chip to the reverse of one barb. No other faults.
A Kakiemon blue and white dish with border decoration of the shochikubai, the reverse with a scrolling floral design. Diameter: 7 ¼ in. c.1670-90.Underglaze blue kin (gold) mark and three spur marks within the footrim.
Perfect condition.

An Ottoman sherbet spoon with a finely carved coconut bowl, the shaft banded with wood, bone, stained bone and inlaid with brass. Length: 9 5/8 in. Turkish, 19th century.
A Japanese kakemono of a group of figures showered with cherry blossom. Dimensions: 20 ¼ x 77 in. Painted area: 15 ½ x 48 ¼ in. Sumi-e and and colour on silk. Inscription and red seal mark. Ivory rollers, one with age crack. Probably early 20th cent.
Excellent condition. No creasing, one or two faint age spots only.
