An unusual tin-glazed European faience dish decorated with a central cartouche of a lady in silhouette surrounded by floral motifs. Diameter: 8 ¾ in. Late 18th century. My suspicion is that this dish is central European- if not Austrian, then probably from one of the Eastern production centres such as Holics or Proskau.
