A fine bronze stand for a Chinese vase or bowl with a barbed profile, mounted on squat cabriole legs. Height: 2 3/8 in.; diameter: 5 ½ in. Interior diameter of rim: approx 4 ¼ in. 19th century, probably European. This stand was so superbly made I just couldn’t pass it up though I didn’t have a vase to go with it.
