A rare Russian pierced brass icon of the Orthodox saints Boris and Gleb. 3 7/8 x 3 ½ in. square. c.1600.
Polished. The roundel and vernicle which should top this icon have been filed off at some time in the past and replaced with two white metal suspension loops.
