A Chinese porcelain month cup, finely enamelled with a cricket on a camelia, within gilt borders, with a poem inscribed to the reverse. Four-character red enamel mark yongching changchun (enduring spring eternally celebrated) to the base. Republic period (c. 1950s?).

A fine silver-gilt snuff bottle, relief-decorated in enamels with a writhing dragon, the sides studded with turquoise and coral. Silver gilt stopper mounted with glass imitating tourmaline. Height: 2 ½ in. Probably 20th cent. Tests as sterling quality.
One turquoise is missing. No other damage. Ex-Kaynes-Klitz collection.
