An attractive Japanese kakemono of a duck on a snowy riverbank under a winter moon. Dimensions: 21 ¾ x 77 in. Painted area: 16 1/8 x 42 ¼ in. Sumi-e and colour on silk. Signed and sealed. Bone rollers. Early 20th cent.
Very good condition. Clean and crisp. Slight creasing to borders in one or two places only. No other damage.
An attractive Japanese cloisonné baluster vase, worked in silver-wire and musen enamels with an autumnal design of vine leaves and grapes on a pale blue ground. Chrome mounts. Unsigned. Height: 8 ½ in. 2nd. Half 20th cent.
A Japanese lacquer dish decorated in hiramakie with a central motif of a crane in flight surrounded by an elaborate feathered border on a brown lacquer ground. Diameter: 8 ¼ in. Zohiko elephant mark to the reverse. Probably 20th cent.
Excellent surface and condition. One small area of cracking/lifting to the rim at the reverse only.
