A small Chinese export porcelain plate decorated in famille rose enamels with the famous scene from the Romance of the West Chamber of Zhang Gong jumping the wall to meet Yingying (having first thrown his boots over!). Diameter: 19.7 cm. Daoguang (1820-50). 1 cm. hairline at 1.00; star crack within the footrim approx 10.3 cm. long . No other faults. |
