A Japanese five-colour Ko-Imari bowl decorated in underglaze blue, iron-red, turquoise, green and yellow enamels with irises and a stylised chrysanthemum motif, the interior with floral border and a central medallion. Diameter: 6 7/8 in. Early 18th century. An attractive design but with two restored rim chips (on the exterior only) as shown in the details. No other damage. No reserve. |
