A wooden lath has been screwed to the back of frame to support an easel-type strut which is no longer attached. I am not sure that this was original since it is in a different wood. At any rate, the frame has loops for suspension which have evidently been in place for a long time.

There is a chip to the reverse of the frame at the bottom on the right hand side (see detail). No other damage.
