Necklace with very fine 19th century jade pendant carved on both sides with pine tree, flowering prunus and bamboo, together with aventurine
quartz, pearls and coral beads. Approximately 20" without pendant. Pendant: 1 3/4" x 1 1/2".
Chinese jade carving of dragon in archaistic style, of light celadon color with brown inclusions, decorated in raised and incised fashion. Probably dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. According to provenance information, the piece was brought back from China in 1972.
